No currency conversion. A marker is removed only when it exactly matches the start or end of an amount. Dates need four-digit years (1900–2199).

Make the rules clear
Map the columns and choose dates, decimals and signs. Unsupported values become visible errors, never silent guesses.

Your file contents are processed only in this browser tab. This tool has no file-upload endpoint, AI processing, bank connection or stored inputs. Hosted pages send fixed anonymous aggregate counts unless disabled or blocked by GPC/Do Not Track. No input, file data, referrer, wallet address or visitor ID is included. Disabling saves only an off preference on this site. Offline downloads send no measurement. No file names, contents, financial details or entered values are sent; you can stop sharing at any time.
Closing or clearing the tab discards the session. Downloads remain on your device. The hosting service may receive ordinary page-request metadata; that’s separate from your file contents.
A few useful details.
Will this fix every bank export?
No. This release supports CSV, TSV and delimited TXT transaction tables with UTF-8 or Windows-1252 text. It does not extract PDF/images or parse OFX, QIF or Excel workbooks. Amounts, dates and row structure must pass explicit validation.
What do “possible repeats” mean?
Rows with the same normalized date, exact description and exact amount are candidates, not proof of duplication. Two real purchases can be identical. Every row stays included until you uncheck it. Existing transactions in your accounting app aren’t checked here.
What formats leave the tool?
QuickBooks: Date, Description, Amount. Xero: Date, Amount, Description. Both use positive money in, negative money out, dot decimals and no thousands separator. Dates use your selected order. Output is UTF-8 CSV with CRLF row endings. Descriptions are preserved, including line breaks and punctuation, so your app may flag some.

Can I review the CSV in a spreadsheet?
Use the on-page preview or plain-text review report instead. Spreadsheet apps can interpret text beginning with =, +, - or @ as formulas. The accounting CSV preserves descriptions to avoid changing their meaning, and risky descriptions require an extra acknowledgement.
